The loion of intake manifold air temperature (IMAT) switch does not allow for enough intake air to flow around sensing probe. That coupled with proximity of the turbocharger allows for additional heat soaking of the separate circuit aftercooler (SCAC) housing at the mounting loion of switch.Resolution
Disable digital input #1 on the EMCP 4.2 panel. The engine is still protected by the detonation detection if there is true high IMAT temperature.
