Remove the control valve (rotor drive clutch). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Control Valve (Rotor Drive Clutch) - Remove".

Remove cover (9) from body (3). Remove the O-ring seal from the cover.
Remove body (8) from body (3) .
Disassemble body (8), as follows:

Remove spring (18), orifice (19), and the O-ring seal from the body.

Remove two springs (4), shims (5), piston (6), and piston (7) from the body.
Remove plugs (20) and (22). Remove the orifice and plug (21) from the body.
Remove plug (10) and spring (12) from the body.
Remove spool (16) and stop (17) from the body. Remove slug (11) from the spool.

Remove the retaining ring, retainer (13), spring (14) and ball (15) from the spool.
Remove plug (1) and valve (2) from body (3) .

Remove cover (23) and spring (25) from the body. Remove the O-ring seal and shims (24) from the cover.
Remove plug (28) and spool (26) from the body. Remove slug (27) from the spool.
Remove the retaining ring, retainer (31), spring (30), and ball (29) from spool (26) .
