Some C13 Truck Engines have been having some issues with excessive oil consumption. Follow the steps below in order to resolve the excessive oil consumption.Solution
Follow the steps below during the next regular oil change.
Flash the engine ECM with new software (to 295-XXXX or later, according to the engine rating) if the serial number is between (S/N: KCB5434-72869). Refer to Table 1 for the proper software file.
